LATAA is dedicated to:
- Following our great leader ATATURK.
- Maintaining and promoting its rich culture, customs, and traditions
- Respecting all religions and beliefs
- Improving community awareness on latest issues and news
- Promoting better understanding and relations between the people of Turkey and the United States of America
- Increasing, promoting, fostering friendship, raising the public knowledge level and understanding of the Turkish culture and history in the community
- Furthering the interests of the Turkish American community in Metropolitan Los Angeles Area and county and the United States
- Performing other activities which are charitable, educational and not for profit, in accordance with the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954
