About Turkish American Society of Ohio Columbus

The Turkish American Society of Ohio (TASO) is a non-profit 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization founded in 2003 as Scioto Educational Foundation (SEF). Since 2010 TASO is the dba for SEF. TASO is dedicated to addressing the social and cultural needs of the Turkish American community living in Ohio.

TASO Columbus is committed to:
– Introducing Turkish culture and establishing bridges between different cultures.

– Uniting the Turkish-American community

– Meeting the cultural and social needs of Turkish-Americans who live in the State of Ohio and surroundings.

– Providing Turkish and American communities rich in educational services.

– Establishing dialog among the communities to serve global peace.

– Creating a welcoming environment for newcomers and helping them to adapt the life in the US.
